【New Arrival | Vintage Tiffany】The Timeless Appeal of the Iconic ’90s “Signature Cross” Necklace

Hello from VintageShop solo.

Today, we would like to introduce the Signature Cross Necklace, one of Tiffany & Co.’s distinctive vintage jewelry designs from the 1990s.

The Appeal of the Signature Collection

Tiffany & Co.’s “Signature” collection is characterized by its distinctive three-dimensional motif, reminiscent of intersecting “X” shapes.

During the 1990s, the design appeared across a variety of jewelry pieces, including necklaces, rings, and earrings. Today, it continues to stand out among vintage Tiffany & Co. jewelry. The “Tiffany Signature” design can also be seen in Tiffany & Co. advertisements from 1999.

The softly rounded, intersecting lines create a sculptural form that feels both classic and modern.

Its substantial proportions and distinctive presence, different from many of Tiffany & Co.’s contemporary designs, are part of what makes vintage pieces from this collection so appealing.

The Beautiful Contrast of Silver and 18K Yellow Gold

The piece featured today combines sterling silver (SV925) with 18K yellow gold.

The Signature Cross was also produced in versions combining sterling silver and 18K yellow gold.

The cool, refined appearance of silver contrasts beautifully with the warmth of yellow gold, creating an elegant presence at the neckline.

It also works beautifully as an accent to sophisticated styling, particularly with black tops, delicate lace, and other understated looks.

As this design is no longer commonly seen in Tiffany & Co.’s current collections, it offers a distinctive character that can only be found in vintage jewelry.
